Yes, you can brainwash anyone with the proper techniques, which they have always used in religious practices. Add to it that there is nothing new about offering prizes for becoming a brainwashed religious idiot.

I would like to see what would happen if they deprogrammed the brainwashed out of their fantasy beliefs and punished them for being religious bigots. There wouldn't be a one of them left, except for the terminally demented.
