Freethinkers of Central Texas honors Matt Dillahunty
November 14, 2012
FACT, The Freethinkers Association of Central Texas, invites the Atheist Community of Austin to join us for the annual FACT solstice party and banquet, Saturday Dec 15, at Absolutely Everything Catering, 3015 San Pedro. Free parking available in the Chase Bank lot next door. Cash bar opens at 6:30pm and a buffet dinner is served @ 7:00. We will recognize and honor FACT members who have gone above and beyond in service to FACT, have lots of great door prizes and other goodies to celebrate another successful year in FACT.
Our special guest and recipient of the 2012 Catherine Fahringer Award is Matt Dillahunty of The Atheist Experience public television live debate program and host of the internet radio program Non-Prophets Radio. Matt is also the founder of the web based counter-apologetics encyclopedia Iron Chariots and is a past president of the Atheist Community of Austin. He serves on the Speakers Bureau of the Secular Student Alliance, and is a sought out public speaker at freethought events and conventions across the country. Like Catherine, Matt has successfully used public media and informed, respectful, thoughtful debate to champion our secular values, rational thought and civil rights in Texas and across the nation.
Because this is a catered event FACT cannot take payment at the door and must have all paid RSVPs by December 1, 2012.

Non members: $31 pr. person
