Photography and Recording Notice

The Atheist Community of Austin, Inc. ("ACA") photographs, audio-records and video-records its events. Recording is carried out by ACA staff and volunteers and by photographers, videographers and production contractors ACA engages.

By entering or attending an ACA event, you agree to the following:

1.   You may be photographed, filmed or recorded, and your image, likeness, voice and statements may be captured.

2.   You grant ACA an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to record, reproduce, edit, publish, broadcast, stream, distribute and otherwise use your image, likeness, voice and statements, in whole or in part, alone or together with other material, in any medium now known or later developed. This includes ACA’s television and streaming programs, podcasts, video shorts, websites, social media, newsletters, archives, promotional materials and fundraising materials, and includes future productions drawing on ACA’s media archive.

3.   This use may be made by ACA and by anyone ACA authorizes. Photographers and videographers ACA engages may also display images from the event in their own professional portfolios and marketing.

4.   You receive no compensation, and you waive any right to inspect or approve any recording or any use of it.

5.   You release ACA and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers and contractors from any claim arising out of the recording or its use, including claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation or misappropriation of likeness.

6.   ACA is not obligated to use any recording.

If you attend with a person under 18 for whom you are a parent or legal guardian, you agree to the above on that person’s behalf.
